Camelot Unchained, a game for Mystical Awakening?

For those not living under a rock I am sure you have seen that the kickstarter from the (in)famous Mark Jacobs for his new game Camelot Unchained. It has gone active last week and is now boasting well over $890k pledged.W e have some people that are indeed living under a rock, or who haven't looked at the game at all due to Jacobs. So let me shed a bit of light on this game with some bullet points followed up with questions.

Camelot Unchained is in a way the spiritual successor of Dark Age of Camelot, the game by some to be named the PvP MMO due to it's 3 faction pvp, realm pride and the fact that small groups could hold off large groups and all that kind of stuff (this is from hearsay as I never touched DAoC!). So what will Dark Age.. oh Camelot Unchained bring to the table?

MA update of 2013, leadership and games!

A while back I promised an update about the state of Mystical Awakening and what is going on. So let me give you the update and inform you what is going to happen in 2013 and what will most likely bleed over into 2013.

Council and Guild Officer status.

As it stands now there are 3 active Guild Council members, these are Merketh, Kroy and Pilgrim. They will be taking care of the website, future games and will make sure that the day to day things are handled. Should you have any questions feel free to drop them a PM or make a forum post and we will be sure to get back to you.

The officers that are currently around are Minkee, Tangara and Ebs. As it stands right now they have a generic position for the time being seeing as we aren't in a game at this point. This can and might chance once one of our future game comes out where we will make our presence, this brings us to the next point.

Trion to publish ArcheAge in the West!

So, about that whole ArcheAge coming to the West thing. Yes, it's actually happening. In fact, XLGAMES is partnering with Trion Worlds to make it happen.

The company responsible for RIFT, Defiance, End of Nations, and the Red Door publishing and development platform will bring Jake Song's fantasy sandpark opus to audiences in North America, Europe, Turkey, Australia, and New Zealand, according to a joint press release. The document makes no mention of either a release date or beta dates for the western market. You can read it in its entirety after the cut.

The last stretch of the Pathfinder Kickstarter

Okay, the last 48hrs have started for the Pathfinder Online kickstarter and the target is roughly 200k short of succeeding. Currently they have added more incentives to join and back (and with the shieldmate option you can team up with someone else, get the early deals and join in the first days of enrollment! so, what did they add for the last stretch? All characters on your Kickstarter account will have these benefits.
